I'll be interested in seeing how it goes with her - maybe together we can figure this out :)

I scent one article by holding and turning it in my hand for several seconds. I either use tongs to set out the additional articles or I have someone else set those out.Kathie Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14276125662981781081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292786348315721132.post-23339576380895706972011-02-14T21:07:10.863-06:002011-02-14T21:07:10.863-06:00Oh how cool! YOu've inspired me now!! :-) I've always wanted to teach Honey scent discrimination but never knew how to do it...I'll be watching Jolee's progress with great interest! (She looks like she's catching on fast already!)

By the way, how do you actually lay the different articles out? Like do you hold only one with your hands to get the scent on and then hold the others with tongs?

Hsin-YiAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09116997529248428606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292786348315721132.post-76040413151057945652011-02-06T21:35:45.657-06:002011-02-06T21:35:45.657-06:00Laura, Thanks. I'll be working with her more now that I'm not so focused on Jackson.Kathie Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14276125662981781081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292786348315721132.post-74628905544469051852011-02-06T17:47:12.049-06:002011-02-06T17:47:12.049-06:00I'm really glad you're going to continue t...I'm really glad you're going to continue training for obedience! You've put in such hard work and it will be great to see what works for Jackson.

I don't think I even knew you had a 2nd dog, you should write about her more! I clicker train a lot of things but didn't with the articles; I used the food on articles method. It'll be interesting to watch her progression (hint to post more on it!).Laura and The Corgi, Toller, & Duckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06437492165453445126noreply@blogger.com
