I'm so, SO sorry for your loss. My Casey had to be euthanized on Sunday, 9/2. It's weird that we were on almost the same journey at the same time. Sunday was my birthday - worst present ever. I'm heartbroken without him, and I know nothing I say to you will make it any better, since nothing said to me is making it any better either. I'm thinking of you and your family and I'm so sorry for your loss.

Oh Kathy!! I can't believe how quickly it has all happened - only a month or so since you posted about his diagnosis. I am so upset and sorry to hear about Jackson, although I am sure it was the best for him to finally be at peace & rest. You have been longtime blog friends and we have always looked up to you & Jackson - you have been so inspiring to us. We will be thinking of you -

I am so sorry for your loss. I know the heartache you feel...my girl is days away from finally losing her short battle with pancreatic cancer.
The love we feel for them (and them for us) is so complete that it makes losing them so incredible hard.
Don't delete Jacksons blog...it's a lovely diary of your journey together :) Thank you for sharing him with us.
